Opening times of the service:
- From Monday to Friday (unless otherwise and prior notification) from 10.00 h. to 14.00 h.
Other times for examinations:
- For urgent examinations go to the First Aid Station of the Healthcare in Matera.
- If the urgency is defered (the evaluation must be made by the Hematologist Doctor), the examinations will be made during the outpatient estimated times.
Outpatient services:
- Diagnosis and treatment of patients suffering from oncohaematological conditions in the ordinary admission , DH and Outpatient.
Consulting:
The consulting activity is provided for all Operational Unit,of the P.O. of Matera and for the other ASM Hospitals.
How to access to the services:
- Booking at CUP phone. 848 821 821
- First examinations: from Monday to Friday from 12.00 h. to 14.00 h. (unless otherwise and prior notification).
- Check up: booked directly by the Hematolgist Doctor
- Long-term check up: bookings at CUP
How to access to the admission :
- Urgent inpatient admissions : from the First Aid Station
- Planned inpatient admissions and DH: They are available to the Hematologist Doctor.
Mission:
The Hematology Mission of UOC is the treatment and care of patients with hematological diseases in all their medical history , offrening the possibility to access to all specialist Healthcare processes (Outpatient activity, Day-Hospital, Inpatient Admissions), .
In the Complex Operative Unit of P.O. of Matera are treated patients with haematological cancers diseases,that is Lymphoma , Leukemia acute and chronic, Myelomas, but also from other hemopathy (Anaemias, Thrombocytopenias, Coagulation Disorders etc).
Moreover to Healthcare activity , there are also research , clinical and laboratory activities.
To the UOC of Hematology it is annexed the DH for the Thalassemias.
