The U.O. also partecipates in regional screening of colorectal cancer with colonoscopy execution of 1° and 2°level and to the genomic regional screening of the colon cancer.
Modality of access to sevices:
The access to the U.O.services of Gastroenterology and Digestive Endoscopy may come:
- In urgent need of emergency
- In priorità regime after gastroenterology examination
- From other Operative Unit or other hospital
- By CUP with priority classes prescription from ageneral practitioner or a specialist
The access to the Day Hospital takes place on the advice of the Specialist Physician.
Before accessing in to the Digestive Endoscopy examinations is expected reception with short history pathological and pharmacological release for the examination list.
